He has over 11 years of experience representing employers in federal and local court in discrimination and retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour issues, non-competition agreements cases, among others maters. Mr. Ferrer routinely advises employers with respect to compliance issues, employee terminations, workforce reductions, wage and hours, leaves of absence, accommodations requests, and the development of personnel policies and procedures. Additionally, Mr. Ferrer is a frequent speaker on labor and employment matters for employers, associations and institutions.

My practice is focused in public accounting, tax, and financial planning. I serve individuals, small and mid-size entities within Puerto Rico and the east coast of the United States. I provide to my clients the experience gathered in a professional career of over 14 years in areas such as accounting, audit, tax, finance, management, administration, law and public sector. My professional experience is very broad, from start working in a small public accounting firm, to start working and being promoted to Manager in a Multinational CPA firm, to be named Director of Finance and Administration for a Public Corporation of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico in charge of one of the most important economic development projects in the island. I am a Certified Public Accountant with a Master of Accountancy in Taxation and currently pursuing a Juris Doctor and the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) Certification.
