Pagán Ortiz, Assistant Dean of Students Affairs, School of Dental Medicine, Medical Sciences Campus & Pediatric Dentist Postdoctoral Certificate in Lactation Education. Course Description and Objectives The course will discuss important aspects of autism, the nature of the condition, biological related cognitive problems, diagnosis and recommended treatments. It will expose the various techniques used in these patients and dental aspects of patients with the condition. A pilot study based on a protocol of dental treatment in these patients performed in Puerto Rico will be presented.
