We have developed a course unique in its kind that every dentist should take periodically to review and learn new medical concepts that affect our profession. Remember that your training also involves medicine and this type of course is rarely offered.

Medical Review is a comprehensive course that involves three days of review of issues ranging from applications of physiology and pharmacology in daily practice, to update in knowledge of medical conditions, such as: patients with antidepressants, patients with heart problems, diabetics, patients with cancer, leukemia, lymphomas, and so on. As well as an update on issues of Radiology: CT scan, MRI and new drugs, among others.

The course will be taught by faculty of the School of Medicine and School of Dental Medicine of the University of Puerto Rico as well as doctors with PHD in physiology and pharmacology of the Medical Sciences Campus.

  • Update the medical phase of your title.
  • Know the meaning of medical laboratories, new drugs and their medical implications.
  • Update your knowledge in the areas of body radiology, CT scan, MRI, so that it allows you to order these imaging studies.
